The Walk

Bliss

Heavenly Paradise, Happy

Reflection on Bliss

With much resistance at the beginning, I (Jill) began the journey of mentoring a young woman who has experienced trauma. There is a mix of emotions as you walk through life with a young person, helping them navigate the complexities — stepping into a space where the dynamics of a family come into play.

I have had the honor and privilege to walk with her and her family for two years, through the highs and the lows. Oh, how God stretches and reaches.

God placed on our hearts to gift her the opportunity to pick and name one of our trees as her holy ground. She finds a place of happiness and paradise in its branches — reclaiming innocence that was taken, longing for a day where all is made right and each of us fully sees.

We are Fallen people, seeking a Steadfast God. When we recognize our need, we have free will to walk through the Gateway of the Cross given freely through His Son, Jesus. Calling on His name in faith, claiming His Victory, we find that we can Abide in Him and find peace in this broken world — until He calls us home or returns to gather us together and spend eternity in pure Bliss.

Take a moment to look at this tree with three towering branches stretching out and proclaiming: Praise God the Father, Praise God the Son, Praise God the Holy Spirit — Three in One.

Scripture

"For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known."

1 Corinthians 13:12
